Service Name
Once you've booked your charter date, reserve your place to stay ASAP! Captain Donny will be in communication the week of your trip with fishing updates and weather conditions. You'll meet at the agreed time at the dock at Geneva State Park Marina. Stop by the Marina snack bar for your fishing license and goodies before we board the boat. A cooler and ice will be provided on the boat but bring supplies to transport your catch home.

Once we leave, get ready to start catching! All fishing supplies are provided with a quick safety review of the boat and equipment. Don't forget your sunscreen and motion sickness medicine—you never know when you may need it. This is your time to sit back and enjoy the ride to the fishing hot spots. Travel can be a few miles or several minutes depending on where they're biting. Captain Donny gives a short explanation of how the rods are set.

Service Name
Once the coolers are full and you've caught your limit, we'll head back to the dock. It's time for pictures and someone to be named catch of the day—with a prize of bragging rights, of course. A fish cleaning station is at the marina and Captain Donny can help clean or you can clean your own fish. Bring your supplies to store and transport home.

What should I bring with me on the fishing trip?A cooler to transport fish home, food and drink for the day (beer and wine allowed, no hard liquor), comfortable clothes, tennis shoes or rubber soled shoes, hat, sunscreen, motion sickness medicine. There is also a snack shop at the Geneva Marina in case you forget anything.

Do I need a fishing license?Ohio fishing license must be valid prior to boarding the charter. Licenses can be purchased online at ohiodrn.com or at the Geneva Marina.

How many fish am I allowed to take home?Each person is allowed up to 6 fish.

What if I get sick on the boat?If you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend you take something the night before. Captain Donny is stocked with motion sickness supplies and the cabin provides an area to lay down. Our goal is for everyone to have an enjoyable trip!

What all will be supplied by Captain Donny and the charter?All fishing equipment will be supplied as well as a cooler to store fish while on the boat. There is fish cleaning available after the trip and Captain Donny has a variety of non-alcoholic drinks available.
